Gilbert J. Rushton

In loving memory of GILBERT JOSEPH RUSHTON, age 90, passed on November 2, 2002. Mr. Rushton, born in Wilkes Barre, PA, was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Army, where he received the Medal of Honor and the Purple Heart. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service.

Beloved and cherished husband of the late Bernice C. Rushton; devoted and loving father of Bernice Joyce Fritsch, Mary Rushton Saville, Gilbert J. Rushton Jr. and Kathryn Rushton Michaels; father-in-law of John Fritsch, Gary L. Saville and Philip Michaels; loving grandfather of Joya Fields, Jill Fritsch, Bea Alteri, Christina Saville, Raina Callender, Sarah Gilbert, Emma Rushton and April and Nicole Michaels, great-grandfather of J.T. and Erica Fields and Brandi Fritsch.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, November 8, 2002, 10 A.M. at St. Mark Chapel. Interment with military honors at Baltimore National Cemetery at 11 A.M.
