Mrs. Nellie G. Gill, 331 Scott Street, died yesterday afternoon at 4:10 in Mercy Hospital following a lingering illness.
Mrs. Gill was born in Wilkes-Barre, a daughter of the late Patrick and Julia Cunningham Comiskey. She was a member of Holy Saviour Church, its Altar and Rosary Society and the LCBA.
Her husband, Thomas, died July 22, 1957. Two sisters died earlier this year. Mrs. Mary Schrode died February 26 and Mrs. Frank Merkel died March 9.
Surviving are these children, Leo, Wilkes-Barre; Raymond, East Paterson, N. J.; Walter, at home; John, Wilkes-Barre Township; seven grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Andrew Callahan, Wilkes-Barre; and two brothers, Charles and Edward Comiskey, both of Wilkes-Barre.
Funeral will be held Thursday morning at 9 from the Marley Funeral Home, 185 Kidder Street, followed by a solemn high mass at 9:30 in Holy Saviour Church. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call tonight 7 to 10 and Wednesday 2 to 5 and 7 to 10.
