PARSONS

The funeral of John Gill will be held to-morrow morning with requiem high mass in St. Dominic’s church at 9:30, Rev. Father Puddy officiating. Mr. Gill passed away at 11:30 Monday night after a week’s illness. Death was the indirect result of miner’s asthma, of which he was a sufferer. This was augmented to a certain extent by a cold he contracted about a week ago, but nothing serious was anticipated until he took to his bed Monday morning.

Mr. Gill was a highly respected resident of this town and he has lived here over 40 years. At one time he took active part in municipal affairs. He was also a member of St. Dominic’s church. His death is deeply regretted by the entire community.
