Parsons Woman Dies at Home

Mrs. F. Christopher Born in Wilkes-Barre

Mrs. Frank Christopher, the former Catherine Gill, of 154 Austin Avenue, Parsons section, died yesterday afternoon at 1:15 at her home after an illness. She had been under the care of a physician since last October.

Born in Wilkes-Barre she was a daughter of the late Richard and Bridget Gill Walsh (*). She was a member of St. Dominic’s Church and its Altar and Rosary Society. Her husband, Frank, a Spanish-American War veteran died January 20, 1950.

Surviving are daughters, Mrs. William Ganard and Mrs. James O’Neil, teacher in the city schools, both of Parsons; son, Mart, East End section, a city fireman; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Gill, Parsons.

Funeral will be held from the funeral home, 159 George Avenue, Parsons, where friends may call tonight, 7 to 10 and thereafter, 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.
