Born in Parsons, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Bridget Walsh Gill. She was employed as a seamstress a number of years in Wilkes-Barre, working in Morahan’s, Lazarus and the Boston store. A former member of St. Dominic’s Church, she was a member of the Resurrection Church, Philadelphia.
Surviving, in addition to Mrs. Mensch, are nieces, Mrs. Helen Brennan, with whom she resided; Mrs. James O’Neil, Parsons.
Funeral on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Collins Funeral Home, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 in St. Dominic’s Church. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover township. Friends may call Friday 7 to 9 p. m.
