Robert P. Gill , of Prospect Street, Tobyhanna, died Sunday, in the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg. Born on July 24, 1932, in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late Richard Joseph and Margaret (*) Gill . He was a graduate of Coughlin High School and King's College, Wilkes-Barre.
He resided in Tobyhanna since 1964 and was employed as an accountant by the Tobyhanna Army Depot, 35 years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of St. Ann's Church, Tobyhanna. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph.
Surviving are his fiancee, Donna Jarett, Tobyhanna; sons, Joseph R. and Robert S., of Tobyhanna; sisters, Mary M., Wilkes-Barre; Ann Dennison, Bergenfield, N.J.; Ruth Bocolo, Mountaintop; Katherine Haginey, Brooklyn, N.Y.; brother, Richard, Allentown.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Ann's Church with the Rev. Joseph Ryan, officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre.
Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main St., Stroudsburg. A prayer service will be at 8 p.m.
