Francis T. Duffy Jr., 72 of Mercerville, NJ, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021, in his home.
Born to the late Frank and Peg Duffy on October 21, 1948 in Philadelphia, PA. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 47 years, Margaret Duffy; his son, Fran, and wife Bridget; daughter, Meghan, and husband, Ryan; daughter, Sarah, and husband Jeremy; and his grandchildren, Frankie, Molli, Tommy, Gracie, Charlotte and Emmy. Fran was the beloved brother of Peggy (Pat), Kevin (Roseanne) and Susie (Kevin). He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Fran was a graduate of Roman Catholic High School '66 and earned a BS in Accounting and Finance from LaSalle University '70. After graduating, Fran took a position at First Pennco Securities in New York City and achieved a distinguished career in financial services and capital markets. He finished his career as Chief Financial Officer for a broker dealer on Wall Street.
Some of Fran's greatest joys in life were walking dogs, playing tennis, spending summers down the shore with his family, making memories with his grandkids, and taking trips to the casino. Fran will be remembered as a giving and selfless person who could always be counted on.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021, from 8:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m., with funeral services beginning at 10:15 a.m., at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows-St. Anthony's Parish, Our Lady of Sorrows RC Church, 3816 East State Street Extension, Hamilton, NJ.
Cremation services will be held privately.
Due to funeral restrictions, the staff at the Saul Colonial Home respectfully requests that all funeral attendees wear a face covering during all services for Fran. We appreciate your cooperation.
