Death Claims Mary Nolan

Mother of Rev. P. A. Nolan. Pastor of Holy Saviour Church, East End

Mrs. Mary Nolan, 89, Mother of Rev. P. A. Nolan, pastor of Holy Saviour Church, East End, died early yesterday at her home, 61 Terrace Street, city, after an illness of general debility.

Mrs. Nolan was born at Inkerman, a daughter of the late Peter and Winifred Henaghan Durkin, early settlers of that section. She moved to this city 35 years ago and had resided here since.

While a resident of this city Mrs. Nolan was a member of St. Therese's Church, Old River Road and its Altar and Rosary Society. Her husband, Michael H. Nolan, died in June, 1928.

Surviving besides Rev. Father Nolan, are these children, Frank Nolan, Washington, D. C. ; Joseph Nolan, Sayre; Mary and Catherine Nolan, at home; Edward Nolan, New York City; and Mrs. T. E. Morris, Chicago; five sisters, Mrs. Green Mulhern, Wilkes-Barre, and Jennie, Winifred and Margaret Durkin, and Mrs. John J. Fahey, all of Inkerman; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The funeral will be held from the home on Friday morning at 9:30 with a solemn high mass of requiem at 10 in St. Therese's Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
