Born in Wilkes-Barre she was the daughter of the late Patrick J. and Nora Degnan Mundy. She was a graduate of Coughlin High School, Class of 1934. She was employed in Washington, D.C., and later with Zoeller Paper Co., Wilkes-Barre for 25 years. She was a member of Holy Saviour Church, Wilkes-Barre.
She was preceded in death by her brother, John Mundy; sisters, Eugina and Dolores Mundy.
Surviving are her husband, Walter F., Birchwood Nursing Center, Nanticoke; sister, Patricia Ann Mundy, RSM, Holy Saviour Convent, Wilkes-Barre; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Wednesday from H. Merritt Hughes Funeral Home, 451 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, with a Funeral Mass at 9:30 in Holy Saviour Church, Wilkes-Barre.
Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Vigil services will be held tonight. Memorial donations may be made to the Sisters of Mercy Retirement Fund, Dallas 18612.
