Andrew Bordash, of 28 Jackson St., Edwardsville, died Thursday at the Nesbitt Memorial Hospital, Kingston, shortly after admittance.
Born in Edwardsville, he was a life-long resident of the community and was the son of the late Andrew and Elizabeth Megyas Bordash.
He retired from the Okonite Wire Works, Wilkes-Barre, five years ago. He was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Church, Kingston.
Surviving are his wife, the former Ruth Rushton; daughter, Mrs. Betty Marr, Watsontown; sister, Mrs. Anna Coach, Edwardsville; one grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 8:30 a.m. from the Andrew Strish Funeral Home, 11 Wilson St., Larksville, with Divine Liturgy at 9 in the St. Mary's Byzantine Church.
Interment will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery, Edwardsville. Friends may call today 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Parastas services will be held today at 7:30 with the Rev. Michael Miyo officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mary's Cemetery Chapel Fund.
