Gill died Thursday in a nursing home. A native of Pennsylvania he lived here 40 years.
He was a life member of the Elks Lodge of Tonopah, Nev. and a member of St. Didacus Church.
Survivors are two nieces, Mary Reed and Sister George Ellen of San Diego and a nephew Lt. Col. George M. Reed of San Diego.
