The former Gertrude F. Gill, daughter of the late Richard and Margaret Beatty Gill, she was born Mar. 30, 1898, in Pringle and resided in Baldwin, L.I., N.Y., many years, moving to Wilkes-Barre 11 years ago. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church, Park Ave.. Her husband, J. Charles died in 1951.
Surviving are a niece and nephews.
Funeral will be Wednesday at 9:30 from Mamary-Durkin Funeral Home, 59 Parrish St., with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in Holy Rosary Church. Rev. James J. Walsh, a great nephew, will officiate. Interment in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Pringle. Friends may call Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 with rosary recited at 8 p.m.
