MARY L. HOLTHAUS, 80, OF MATSON AVENUE, PARSONS, WILKES-BARRE, DIED WEDNESDAY AT HOME.

Mary L. Holthaus, 80, of Matson Avenue, Parsons, Wilkes-Barre, died Wednesday at home. Born Dec. 2, 1913, in Parsons. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary GIll Gannon. A lifelong resident of Parsons, she was a 1930 graduate of Coughlin High School. She also graduated from Wilkes-Barre Business School.

She was employed for a number of years as a legal secretary. She was a member of St. Dominic's Church, Wilkes-Barre. She was preceded in death by her husband, John L.; grandchildren, Michael, Eric and Kristen Holthaus; sister, Marcella Flood.

Surviving are sons, John L., Glen Gardner, N.J.; Michael, Clinton, N.J.; Richard L., Dallas; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Ann Pesavento and Kathleen Cavan, both of Wilkes-Barre; brother, Leo Gannon, Wilkes-Barre.

Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday from the E. Blake Collins Funeral Home, 159 George Ave., Wilkes-Barre, with a funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Dominic's Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
