Mrs. Holthaus worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for her husband's printing company, International Color Printing in Hillsborough, N.J. She lived in Lebanon Township, N.J., before moving to Annandale, N.J., three years ago. Mrs. Holthaus loved to travel. She was an avid golfer and belonged to Harker's Hollow Golf Club in Phillipsburg, N.J. She also enjoyed bowling and belonged to Oakwood Lanes Bowling League in Washington, N.J.
She was preceded in death by her father, Elsworth Williams.
Surviving are her husband of 47 years, John L. Holthaus, Annandale, N.J.; son, John L. Holthaus, Brick, N.J.; son, James Holthaus, High Bridge, N.J.; mother, Ruth Williams, Wilkes-Barre; brother, Donald Williams, Wilkes-Barre; sister, Louise Woodring, Hammonton, N.J.; four grandchildren, Maggie, Jeffrey, Olivia and Austin.
Visitation will be on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at the Martin Funeral Home, 1761 Route 31, Clinton, N.J. There will be a funeral mass on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the St. Ann's Catholic Church in Hampton, N.J. Interment is private. All funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home, Clinton, N.J.
