She was born in Hudson, Plains Township, a daughter of the late Andrew and Victoria Grzybowski Zielinski (Green). A graduate of Plains Memorial High School and Wyoming Seminary Dean School of Business, she was employed at the former International Color Printing Co., Parsons.
Mrs. Gannon was a member of St. Benedict's Parish, Wilkes-Barre. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo M. Gannon; son, Thomas Gannon; son-in-law, Louis Jennings Sr.; brothers, Andrew, Max, Aloysius; sisters, Constance Tart, Mary Krishock, Veronica Kapustay and Josephine Green.
Surviving are her daughter, Julie Jennings, Wilkes-Barre; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Benedict's Church, Austin Avenue, Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
