Born in Plains Township, he was the son of Kathryn Gill McCall, Kingston, and the late Neil E. McCall Sr. He was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School, Wilkes-Barre, and the University of Scranton. He was a member of the United States Army.
Prior to retirement, he was employed as a school teacher in Baltimore County. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church, Baltimore, MD.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Theresa Ducey.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are sons, Patrick; Cornelius III; Timothy, all of Baltimore, MD; and Shawn, Texas; sisters, Jackie McCall; Kingston; Mary Collins, Penbroke Pines, Fla.; and Catherine Phillips, Buffalo Grove, Ill,; and six grandchildren.
A funeral mass was held Friday at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Baltimore, MD. Interment will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township. Memorial donations, if desired, may be made in his memory to St. Jude’s Children Hospital or St. John’s Church, 601 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre. Local arrangements by the Corcoran Funeral Home, 20 S. Main St., Plains Township.
