A well known South Wilkes-Barre resident, Mary M. Nolan, 61 Terrace Street, passed away last night at 8:05 in Mercy Hospital. She had been in ill health several months.
Miss Nolan was born at Inkerman, a daughter of the late Michael and Mary Durkin Nolan. The family resided in Wilkes-Barre the past 52 years.
A graduate of St. Mary's High School, she was a member of St. Therese's Church and its Altar and Rosary Society.
Surviving are brothers and sisters, Rev. Peter A. Nolan, pastor of Holy Saviour Church; Mrs. R. M. Nolan, and Edward, both at home; Frank, Washington, D. C.; Joseph, Bethlehem, and Mrs. Thomas Morris, Chicago, Ill.
Funeral will be held from McLaughlin Funeral Home, 142 South Washington Street, where friends may call Friday, 3 to 5 and 7 to 10.
