Death of Martin Gilroy

The funeral of Martin Gilroy who died at Whitehaven will take place tomorrow, Tuesday morning, from the family home on Salem street, West Pittston at 9:15, and a requiem mass will be sung in the Immaculate Conception Church at 9:30. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Mr. Gilroy was a man of middle age, and was born in Pittston, living here until a few months ago. He has a legion of friends here who will be sorry to hear of his death. He is survived by his wife and one son Joseph; also the following brothers and sisters: John of Tunkhannock avenue; Mrs. Rena Fenney of Scranton; Mrs. Mary Coleman of Elmira; Mrs. Agnes Garrett of Detroit.
