Mary Kearney Gilroy (1889-1920)

Former Resident Dies in Bethlehem

News was received in Pittston yesterday of the death of Mrs. Charles Gilroy which took place at Bethlehem. The remains will arrive here this afternoon and will be taken to the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Kearney, 580 South Main Street, Sebastopol. Deceased before marriage was Mary Sheehan and was born in Inkerman about 27 years ago.

The family moved to Bethlehem four years ago. A few months ago Mrs. Gilroy was obliged to undergo an operation and never regained her normal health. Later complications set in which caused her death.

She leaves four children, Lillian, Thomas, Charles and Florence, also the following brothers and sisters, Thomas, John, Edward, William and Katheryn Kearney.
