She was a life resident of Jenkins Township and was graduated from Jenkins Township High and Marywood College. Until her retirement 14 years ago, she was a teacher in Jenkins Township School District. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston.
Surviving are brothers and sisters, Joseph, at home; Mrs. Catherine Houston, at home; James, Scranton; Robert, Wilkes-Barre; Michael, Avoca.
Funeral will be Friday at 9:30 from Donnelly Funeral Home, 802 Susquehanna Ave., W. Pittston, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Maria Goretti Church, Laflin. Interment in St. John’s Cemetery, Pittston. Friends may call Wednesday 7 to 9 and Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
