Charlotte A. Roche, formerly of Pittston and B'nai B'rith Apartments, Wilkes-Barre, died Friday at the Summit Health Care Center, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late James and Julia Loftus Roche. She graduated from St. John's high School, Pittston.
Before retiring, she was employed by Home Life Insurance Co., Pittston and Wilkes-Barre for 35 years. She was a former member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston, and a present member of St. Mary's Church of the Immaculate Conception, Wilkes-Barre, and its Altar and Rosary Society.
Surviving are nieces, Doris Wiley, Tobyhanna; Joan Thibault, Wayne; Mary Donahue, Pittston; a cousin, Dr. Joseph Loftus , Hudson, Plains Township.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday from the M.J. McLaughlin Funeral Service, 142 S. Washington St., Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Church of the Immaculate Conception, Wilkes-Barre.
Entombment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
